NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY IN LISBURN, BELFAST NORTHERN IRELAND
As a Lisburn newborn photographer, I know that your first few weeks as a new parent can be quite the whirlwind (whether it’s your first baby or your fourth) and I’m dedicated to making your newborn photo session a relaxing and comfortable experience amidst all these changes.
All newborn photo sessions take place in my warm Lisburn Photography Studio, designed to keep your little one asleep and content. Our cosy studio in Lisburn is a short drive from Belfast, Dromore, Royal Hillsborough, Carryduff.
My newborn photography style is simple and timeless, using simple props that ensure focus is always on the true work of art: your baby. We have everything readily available in the Lisburn Studio, including a variety of props, and you’ll receive all the directions and other information you need prior to your session.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?
It's never too early to book your newborn photographer! Because my calendar fills up so quickly, its best to reserve your session as early as possible. I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month so that I can leave space for babies that arrive earlier or later than their anticipated due date.
Depending on when our scheduled babies arrive, we may have last-minute session availability....so if your baby is already here, please reach out to see if I can still accommodate you.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO NEWBORN SESSION?
Newborn photo shoots are scheduled within the first 3 weeks after birth, while the baby is still in that super sleepy, squishy, curly stage and can be moved around and positioned more naturally. Once the baby is here, we’ll narrow down the exact studio time based on the baby’s arrival. You will also be asked to fill out a newborn questionnaire, so we can tailor the session around your needs. Each newborn session is styled with colours you love and only the poses, accessories and props you love!
Little one already over 2 weeks old? No worries! We feel everyone should have the chance to have their bundle of joy documented. For this reason, we offer newborn photos for babies up to four weeks after birth. They may not be as sleepy and curly, but they sure are cute!
WHAT IF MY BABY COMES EARLY OR AFTER THE DUE DATE?
By booking your newborn photography session with me, (paying the session fee) your new baby has priority on my schedule. That means if the baby comes early or late your baby is guaranteed a spot on my calendar. My newborn sessions are limited per month to accommodate the various arrival dates.

DO WE NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE SESSION?
I provide everything for your session! All you have to do is show up! I have lots of headbands, hats, outfits, wraps and props. I individually style each session and always ask for your input on colors. My style is very simple and minimal.
If you have something special that you'd like to include in the session, please let me know ahead of time so that I can prepare for it and I will do my best to try and incorporate them into your session.

CAN PARENTS AND SIBLINGS BE IN THE PICTURES TOO?
The family and siblings photographs are very important. This is priceless treasure for years to come and for future generation. Generally I do family and sibling portraits at the beginning and when we are done with those, I will suggest dad taking older children for walk/ lunch / park/ bring them back home or to grandparents, since it might be too overwhelming for them to wait another 2-3 hours.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE SESSION?
Your gallery is ready for viewing approximately 3-4 weeks after your newborn session. You will receive an online proofing gallery where you will then be able to choose your favorite images and place your order. I then edit and perfect those chosen images and return them to you in a final gallery where you can download them right to your computer. You will also receive the USB with your chosen images.
Mounted prints, albums and wall art can take up to 3 weeks from order date.
WHAT EXPERIENCE/TRAINING DO YOU HAVE AS A NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER?
I have almost 10 years of experience working with newborns, and countless hours spent on training and workshops. I only offer a safe, calm environment for your precious new baby, and their safety would never be compromised to get an image.
I am a fully trained in newborn safety and insured business with your infant or baby's best interest at heart.
INVESTMENT
£40 non refundable session fee is due on booking to secure your space in my diary. The session fee covers the studio time and does not include any products or digital files. Newborn photo session packages start at £195 and move up from there depending on what you are wanting.
