Hi, my name is Elena! As a Lisburn photographer specialising in Maternity, Newborn, Baby, and Cake Smash photography, I love helping families like yours capture the precious moments that mean the most. I’m based right here in the heart of Lisburn, Northern Ireland and I love welcoming little ones and their families to my studio. I’m lucky to be close to lots of lovely towns and cities, so if you’re in Belfast, Domore, Craigavon, Lurgan, Newtownabbey, Antrim, Bangor, Holywood—or anywhere nearby—you are never too far away to come and capture those precious first moments. I make it easy and relaxed, so you can just focus on your baby while I handle the photography.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. MAKE AN INQUARY
Fill out the contact form and let me know which session you are interested in. I will send you my session and pricing guide. |
2. SECURE BOOKING
Once your session fee has been received, your booking with Elena Mason Photography is secured. |
3. CONFIRM DATE
Once your baby arrives, just get in touch to lock in your session date. Maternity, baby, and cake smash sessions will be booked in advance — nice and easy! |
4. ARRIVE AT SESSION
You'll simply arrive at my studio — I'll take care of the rest to make your experience relaxed and easy. |

5. SELECT PHOTOS
In 3–4 weeks, you’ll receive a gallery of soft proof photos where you can choose your favourites to include in your final collection. Beautiful products such as albums, print boxes, canvases, and frames are also available to showcase your images. |
6. MAKE PAYMENT
Payment for your chosen package can be made directly through the online gallery. |
6. EDITING
Editing of your selected images will begin once full payment for your chosen package has been received. Each image is carefully hand-edited by Elena Mason Photography to ensure a beautifully finished gallery of the highest quality. |
7. YOUR DIGITAL PHOTOS/PRODUCTS
Your final high resolution images will be ready for digital download. Printed/wall products will be ready for collection in 3-4 weeks. |

Absolutely fantastic photographer. Elena has done photoshoots for both my babies now and one including a boisterous 2 year old. She has an incredible way of putting the children at ease and has so much energy for getting them to pay attention and focus . Beautiful studio with lots of props and backgrounds . The photos are stunning and elegant . it’s almost impossible to choose which ones to keep.

Elena is absolutely fantastic at what she does, her photography skills are beautiful and she is naturally so good with babies, really taking her time to ensure baby is ok throughout the shoot.. just a lovely experience overall and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for someone to do their newborn photoshoot!

Choosing the right photographer for your baby’s photoshoot is such a personal thing — especially here in Lisburn and Belfast, Northern Ireland. So… why me? Honestly, my words won’t mean much if you don’t connect with the images I create. So take your time — browse through my portfolio, see if my style feels right for you, and imagine your little one in those photos. But if you do love what you see, here’s what you can expect:

WHEN SHOULD YOU BOOK ME? |
I do recommend booking the session as far in advance as you can, since some months are busier than others, and I can't guarantee a space unless you are booked in. Here’s a simple guide to help you plan ahead: Posed Newborn Sessions – best done in the first 3 weeks, while your baby is still super sleepy and curly. That’s how we get those adorable, womb-like poses you see in my portfolio. Natural Newborn Sessions – these are a bit more flexible and can be done with older babies too, especially if you love those real, relaxed moments — perfect for capturing gentle cuddles, stretches, and connection. Maternity Sessions – ideal between 30–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round, but you're still feeling comfortable and mobile. Cake Smash Sessions – Perfect at 11 months, just before baby becomes too speedy on their feet! It's the ideal time to celebrate their first birthday with cake, mess, and giggles. |
WHERE IS THE STUDIO? |
My studio is right in the heart of Lisburn, Co.Antrim, a lovely little town that’s easy to get to from Belfast and lots of nearby towns. It’s a calm, welcoming space designed with babies (and tired parents!) in mind — and there’s plenty of parking nearby, so no stress when you arrive. While I’m best known as a newborn photographer here in Lisburn, I also love capturing maternity, older baby, and family sessions.
